Part No.MP33 How to use Meccano parts booklet.
The MP33 refers to the type of catalog (Meccano Parts)
and the year it was produced (1933). Newer instruction
books are in the following format 50.3 where 50 is the
year (1950) and 3 is the Number of the set the manual
covers.

The other number which appears on most Meccano booklets is the printers code and can give a bit more information on the
piece of paper. It usually follows the format PP/MMYY/Qty where PP is the Printer of the document, MM is the month of
the year, YY is the year and Qty is the number made x 1000. For example the number above (2/1033/.75) means
Printing company No2 produced 750 (.75 x 1000) copies of this booklet in October of 1933. This does not mean that only
750 copies of this booklet exist it just means that 750 were printed in October 1933.
